With a creamy consistency, medium to strong hold, and natural-looking finish, this product is the perfect daily driver for any situation. WHAT IS A MATTE POMADE?
Matte pomade is a type of hair styling product used to achieve a natural, textured look. It is a hair wax that typically has a matte finish and a medium to strong hold. Unlike traditional pomades that have a shiny, slick finish, matte pomades provide a more natural, textured appearance.
Matte pomade is usually made from a combination of wax and oil-based ingredients, and it can be used on all hair types. It is especially popular for men's hairstyles, but it can also be used by women.
To use matte pomade, you can apply a small amount to your palms and work it into your hair, starting at the roots and working your way up to the tips. It can be used to create a variety of styles, from messy, textured looks to more polished, structured styles. Since it has a matte finish, it won't make your hair look greasy or shiny.
HOW TO USE MATTE POMADE
Mason’s Matte Pomade is the ultimate daily driver product! You can use it in both towel-dried and dry hair with capability to alter your look as you go about the day. Want to go for business in the morning and casual at night? You can do so with ease.
Here are some general steps to style your hair with matte pomade:
Start with clean, dry hair: Matte pomade works best on clean, dry hair. So, make sure you wash and dry your hair thoroughly before styling.
Apply a small amount of pomade: Take a small amount of matte pomade (about a fingertip's worth) and rub it between your palms to warm it up. Then, work it into your hair, starting from the roots and working your way up to the tips. Apply more pomade as needed, but avoid using too much, as it can make your hair look greasy.
Style your hair: Use your fingers or a comb to style your hair as desired. Matte pomade can be used to create a variety of styles, from messy, textured looks to more polished, structured styles. Experiment with different techniques to find the style that works best for you.
Remember, the amount of pomade you use and the way you style your hair will depend on your hair type, length, and personal preferences. Though Mason’s Pomade products are designed to work for all hair types, we’ve found that medium and coarse hair types work best with the Matte Pomade. Our fine-haired customers love our Matte Pomade too and enjoy the Sculpting Clay and Sea Salt Spray for lighter weight alternatives.
Instructions:
Towel-Dried Hair: Start with a dime-sized amount of product and thoroughly warm in your hands by rubbing them together until the product is soft. Apply to hair from front to back making sure to reach down to the roots. Can blow dry for additional volume or let air dry and style as desired. This will achieve tighter control with slightly less hold.
Dry Hair: Work a dime-sized amount of product into the hands until soft. Apply to hair from back to front and be sure to get down the roots. Style with a comb or fingers to achieve the look you want. Use more product if needed to achieve more hold.
